Hands On SLPs provide individualized speech and language services for clients ages toddler to young adult. We have extensive experience working with clients who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind. We specialize in bilingual ASL/English language development and routine-based in-home therapy.
Meet The SLPs
Amanda and Kelsey have formed a one of a kind partnership over their 6 years of collaboration. The two met on the west coast and bonded over their Midwest roots. Hands On has grown out of their mutual passion for bringing evidence based, bilingual speech and language therapy to their community.
Services
Hands On Speech and Language SLPs offer a wide variety of services including consultations, evaluations, and individualized therapy sessions. We value routine-based intervention and will provide all services within your home or community.

15-20 minute consultation with one of our SLPs via phone, FaceTime, Zoom, or in person. Together we will determine if our services are appropriate for your individualized needs.
We provide comprehensive, dynamic evaluations for both families and school districts. Please contact us for more information.
Following an evaluation, together we will develop an intervention plan. These vary widely and could include, but are not limited to: 1:1 weekly/monthly sessions within your home, or other community location, social outings, augmentative and alternative communication support, etc.
It can be difficult to advocate for, assess, and support clients with complex communication needs. Amanda and Kelsey provide consultative services to help families and/or their service providers navigate the special education process, accessibility within the community and workplace, and/or anywhere else communication can become a barrier.
